Employment of the differently abled is an issue that we are endlessly trying to address. Of every ten calls that we receive, eight are seeking employment.Some are very well qualified, some have good work experience and some others have none of these.But all of them have to earn their livelihood and it is very important for us that we make an effort for all of them.

We came across a training program that we felt was suitable for the disabled offered by TI Cycles Ltd. It was a bicycle assembling and servicing program. When we discussed this program with others, many scoffed at the idea. Some said nobody rides a cycle these days,some said that people want only computer training and not cycle training while some others said that there can be better programs.

But we strongly believed that post training rehabilitation is possible in this program and we pursued it.

And we were right.We were able to place two of the trainees at the dealer network of TI Cycles and gave tool kits for two others to set up shop.

But we do not want to stop here. We need to reach out to more.
The second cycle servicing training program is scheduled to take place near Tirunelveli in partnership with Amar Seva Sangam from 24th June to 2nd July and we are sure that we will be able to rehabilitate more.
