Disability due to loss of eyesight is another highly prevalent, but preventable form of disability. Keeping in line with Sukriti's focus of prevention, we conduct monthly eye-camps in suburbs and rural areas.
Eye screening camp was conducted on 20.9.2009 at K K Nagar. 70 persons were screened and 10 were referred for surgery.24 spectacles will be distributed shortly.
An eye camp was conducted on 26/4/2008 at Tondiarpet along with Utra Helping Orgnisation. 300 persons were screened and 30 persons were referred for surgery at Agarwal Eye Hospital.

On March 22, 2008, Sukriti held its third eye camp at K K Nagar, Chennai. The eye camp was organised in partnership with Dr. Agarwal Eye Hospital.
On January 27, 2008, Sukriti held an eye camp at Red Hills. The event was organised in partnership with Udhi Eye Hospital, Chennai.
Sukriti Social Foundation conducted an eye camp at Mappedu Village in Thiruvallur District (50 kms from Chennai) on the 14 th of February 2007 .
