Every time we travel, it is a great challenge to find an accessible cum affordable hotel. Most of the time you feel that if only a little more thought had gone into it, this could have been accessible. Very elementary features like designated parking, staircase without gaps between the steps
( continous risers), extended hand rails etc can make a lot of difference. It was heartening to note that ITC Hotels have come out with a universal design manual for accessible hotels.
